Many new BMWs to debut at Frankfurt Motor Show

Next month, the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show will be the home to many new car debuts. The big Germans all plan on debuting many new and exciting cars, with BMW being one of the largest there. We can expect to see no less than five new BMW to make their way to Frankfurt in September.

Among the exciting debuts will be the all-new F90-generation BMW M5, 6 Series GT and new X3. These cars we’ve seen photos of already but none of them have yet to make an actual debut anywhere. Obviously, the car we want to see most is the new M5. Its aggressive looks, 600 hp V8 and all-wheel drive system make it one of the most exciting M5s in history. So, naturally, we want to see it in person and poke around.

While the 6 Series GT we aren’t too enthused about seeing in person, it’s still interesting. Will its Quasimodo-esque styling look better in person? We’ll find out. We also want to see the new X3 there, as it seems to be one of the best looking small SUVs on the market.

The big news, though, is the debut of the BMW Z4. The next-gen Z4 is an important car for BMW, as it will replace its most aging model. It also has a lot to live up to, as the BMW Concept Z4, which recently debuted at Pebble Beach, is absolutely gorgeous. The concept proves the BMW is still very much interested in making pretty sports cars. So let’s hope the final product has a lot of the concept’s DNA.

BMW is also said to be debuting the upcoming BMW i3S, a sportier version of its electric hatchback. Considering how much we already like the i3, we’re excited to see an every more fun variant.

We’re also hearing that a few new concepts will debut in Frankfurt. One of which will be a fuel-cell-powered BMW X7, which sounds interesting. There will also be the BMW 8 Series Concept, which we can’t get enough of, and a new EV based on the 4 Series Gran Coupe.

Stay tuned as we have more on BMW’s Frankfurt debuts.
