Alps Tour — Kinsale amateur John Murphy added a 76 to previous rounds of 71 and 76 to finish tied 32nd in the inaugural Golf Open Clément Ader in Paris.

The 18-year-old finished on seven-over-par 223, 14 strokes out of a playoff for the title that saw France’s Ugo Coussaud defeat Spanish amateur Adria Arnaus at the fifth extra hole to clinch his maiden professional win.

Coussaud began the day eight shots behind Arnaus in a share of sixth but closed with a best-of-the-day 66 to tie with the Spaniard (74) on seven under.
