With all the black/white builds going strong these days, it’s a real refreshment to have a bright color like Melbourne Red adorning a vehicle like the BMW 3 Series Sedan. Coming from Vorsteiner, this 3 Series features a few aftermarket carbon fiber aero touches and the all-new Vorsteiner Flow Forged wheels. The vehicle is overly customized, but it’s definitely aggressive and interesting looking.
The BMW featured here is the BMW 335i, just a touch below the much famed BMW M3 and BMW M4 versions. The BMW 335i comes with a 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that delivers 300 horsepower. The power is delivered through an 8-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission with Adaptive Transmission Control (ATC), powering the rear wheels. It combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection for a smoother and more precise power delivery. This allows the BMW 335i to sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in as low as 5.5 seconds.
When compared to the BMW M3, which does the sprint in just 4.1 seconds, the 335i isn’t that much slower and for many, this will never be noticed as much in daily driving scenarios overall.
This particular Melbourne Red BMW 335i – besides its well-appealing exterior finish – is also adorned with a set of lightweight Vorsteiner V-FF 108 FlowForged wheels. These wheels come in sizes of 18×8.5 and 18×10 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels are painted in a Carbon Graphite finish and red Vorsteiner center caps, giving it a perfect match of dark and light, working great with the exterior of this vehicle.
