“I actually think Santa would use this,” says Chris Marino, of Century West BMW. “After all, Santa is a pragmatic guy. Why would he want a sleigh-pack of Mercedes, getting about 2 miles per gallon, to deliver toys to children around the planet?”
Verisimilitude notwithstanding, Marino has borne-forth another BMW masterpiece, replete with the ever-rare Laguna Seca Blue individual paint scheme. As is normally the case, the design didn’t begin and end with the paint.
Marino went to the BMW Performance Parts catalog and up came a set of 20” Style 405 M-Performance wheels to complete the external appearance from the factory. As ‘cake-topping’ this 330i xDrive sports Black Performance Grills, Rear Diffuser, Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps, Carbon Fiber Selector Lever and interior trim, M-Performance Rocker Decals, Performance Front Splitter, Rear Spoiler, M-Performance Illuminated Door Sills and LED door-projectors.
As equipped, this 330xi wears the M Sport Package, Drivers Assistance Package, Premium Package, Technology Package, Apple Car Play, Wireless Handset Charging, and a host of other factory goodies.
Under the hood, the 330i xDrive B46 turbocharged powerplant, is good for 248hp and 258 ft-lbs of torque. Coupled with all-wheel drive and a wagon’s low center of gravity, this special BMW won’t just look the part, it will deliver.
“Of course there’s also the fact that this is the only one out there, like this,” Marino points out. True to form, Marino has designed a one-off to ensure that a client won’t (ever) see another one like their car.
Perhaps it isn’t too late for Mrs. Claus to give Santa what he’s always wanted!
