After the BMW M2 was released, a large number aftermarket tuning projects have started to pop-up on our radar. This BMW M2 comes with a set of aftermarket wheels while also being lowered with a new springs kit, the overall result is a clean looking M2.
This M2 features a set of Vossen VFS-1 wheels. A rather familiar wheel design, they have been one of the highest selling aftermarket wheel models in the last few years. For the most part, we’ve grown to like their looks and fitment on the BMW 1M builds done previously by the wheel company. Wheels seen on this build are sized 20×9 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear, respectively. The wheels come with a and a Silver Brushed finish.
The M2 is lowered on KW Clubsport suspension, it comes with Michelin PSS tires, giving the M2 remarkable traction and handling in tight corners. Work was completed by LapTime Performance.
With a 3.0-liter straight-six engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology capable of delivering 370 horsepower, the M2 certainly ticks all the performance boxes. This powerplant provides power which is more than enough to propel the BMW M2 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.3 seconds – if optioned with the fast 7-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission. A near perfect weight distribution, amazing handling and gorgeous looks, all help luring new customers to the M division.
The BMW M engineers have worked tirelessly to reduce weight wherever possible, improve rigidity and hone the M2’s responses thanks to the sophisticated chassis technology and electronics, while upgrading the aerodynamics and cooling.
