This video will give you a good showcase of how well a BMW F10 M5 can sound with a custom aftermarket exhaust system installed. While the current generation of BMW’s performance models – BMW M3, M4, M5 and M6 – have often been called tame and underachieving in the sound department, it’s common knowledge that these vehicles only need a performance exhaust system to let their inner soul be unleashed.
The M5 comes with a a 4.4 L V8 turbo petrol engine delivering 560 horsepower (412 kW) and maximum torque of 502 lb-ft (680 Newton meters) available to their driver. The sports sedan will make the acceleration sprint from 0-62 mph (0-100km/h) in 4.2 seconds and its top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). However, an unrestricted (limiter removed) BMW F10 M5 can hit a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).
This particular BMW M5 is equipped with Evolve downpipes and a SuperSprint exhaust system. It also features a power kit which brings up the total power output to 750 horsepower.
The vehicle was filmed during the Rolling50 1000 Deutsche Meisterschaft event from SCC500, taking place at the Lausitzring in Germany.
