There’s a seemingly abstruse feeling people get with the BMW X5 M. It’s a lumbering SUV that seldom gets the credit it deserves. However, it can duke it out with the best of them; the BMW F15 X5 M can outdo the BMW E92 M3 on the Nurburgring, for example. On the other hand, the X5 M delivers on the promise of a premium, sporty truck with big exterior combined with a luxurious and comfy cabin.
For the owner of this BMW X5 M, the need to further modify the luxury truck to his personal needs is obvious in this tuning project. Instead of going with a full-fledged aero kit, the owner opted for a set of aftermarket forged wheels. Made by HRE Wheels, these HRE P103 wheels in Satin Black bring a perfect subtle accentuating touch to this vehicle. Sized twenty-one inches, front and rear, they are a perfect performance/visual upgrade for this vehicle.
The build was completed by a company called Baan Velgen who took care of the installation procedure. Additionally, the tuning company added an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system, giving this BMW X5 M a throatier sound and improved performance. The BMW X5 M is a perfect mixture of space and daily utility combined with the M touches which have made famous BMW’s sports division. Its 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo engine helps the heavy SUV sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 5.0 seconds.
