This interesting photoshoot depicts two seemingly similar, yet so different, BMW M3 builds. First one is a brand new 2016 BMW M3 and the latter is an old friend of anyone familiar with the tuning scene – a 2014 BMW M3. Both vehicles feature a bevy of aftermarket additions. For the most part, the two M3s are completely the same, but on closer inspection, there are subtle differences both in the OEM design/details and the tuning aspect as well.
The BMW M3 of this generation is powered by a rather efficient and powerful engine. The 3.0l BMW TwinPower Turbo engine is a marvel of efficiency in both power delivery and fuel number consumption. It delivers 425 horsepower, which is plenty for such a vehicle. The M3 can sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. The car will go to a rather impressive electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
The Silverstone Metallic 2016 BMW M3 features a M Performance front splitter and intake surrounds, a Vorsteiner rear diffuser and a decklid spoiler alongside custom aftermarket wheels. The Austin Yellow BMW M3 features a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser matched with a rear decklid spoiler and finished with BBS Wheels to round it up perfectly.
