This BMW F80 M3 features a completely stealth look, created by Sonic MS. The build started off as an OEM Mineral Gray BMW M3, but shortly after the transformation has started.
The tuning company went with a full PSM Dynamic carbon fiber aero kit consisting of a front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear aero diffuser and a rear decklid spoiler. All parts are made out of carbon fiber. The addition of these carbon fiber aero parts gives the M3 a healthy dose of sportiness while enhancing the car’s aerodynamics. The kit fits well with a full matte black wrap for a stealthy look.
Following the carbon fiber aero parts is a set of BBS FI-R forged wheels. These are some of the most expensive and lightweight wheels available on the market today with a price of $2,000 per wheel.
The setup sheds unsprung wheel weight while being wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. These tires allow better track handling while lasting longer, thanks to their Track Longevity Technology 2.0 which combines Variable Contact Patch 3.0 with a race inspired reinforced shoulder construction. Sizes are 285/35/19 in the front and 305/30/20 in the rear, respectively.
Hidden perfectly behind the BBS wheels are a set of Brembo GT Type III brakes. These give the M3 even more stopping power, compared to the already great OEM braking system. With a suspension upgrade consisting of the KW Clubsport two-way coilovers, the M3 will hit the corners with ample style and even more speed.
The BMW M Performance seats and the GTS Steering wheel improve the driver’s position in high-speed cornering.
To give the BMW M3 additional power, the guys from Sonic MS installed some power upgrades. The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system is the first major addition, giving the vehicle better throttle response, more power and torque, all complemented with an improved exhaust note too.
The tuning project is all tied in thanks to a VF Engineering Hex Stage 2 tuning software. This makes the BMW 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo engine deliver a sizable increase in both horsepower and torque. Programmed through the OBD2 port, this seamless upgrade remains un-intrusive, and fully reversible.
