The BMW 2002 Hommage Concept unveiled last weekend at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este joined an exclusive club of concept cars that were created to pay homage to BMW history. As we all know by now, no BMW concept shown at the Villa d’Este was ever put in production, the design concepts BMW usually show at the classy venue are just imagination exercises.
As for the BMW 2002 Hommage Concept, we’ve already seen one rendering showing the small Coupe turned into a Convertible. Today, we’re bringing you yet another variation of the car, this time, in Shooting Brake guise, by X-Tomi Design.
Since BMW never actually made a shooting brake model under its blue and white badging, this also could represent a premiere for the Bavarians.
Until someone in Munich decides to compete with the likes of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake or the CLS Shooting Brake for that matter, we’ll just have to wait for that special model.
