SPIED: Toyota Supra, BMW Z4 and 3 Series caught hanging out in Italy

It looks like the upcoming Toyota Supra is part of the BMW gang now, as it was recently caught spending some time in Italy with the its platform-sibling, the BMW Z4, and the upcoming G20-generation 3 Series. We’ve known for some time that the next-gen Supra would share its platform architecture with the upcoming BMW Z4, so it’s no surprise that they would be testing together. But it’s interesting to see BMW bringing it along with its other cars to test, like the 3 Series.

That’s what happened recently as these three cars were caught hanging out in front of the Grand Hotel Arenzano, in Arenzano, Italy. (We don’t own the spy photos but they can be seen here)

In these photos, we get a pretty close look at the Toyota Supra, which looks really good. It has the classic Supra styling, with a short and bubbly rear deck and long hood. It also has some really cool wheels. At the front, though, we get a good glimpse at its front bumper, which features two massive air intakes flanking either side. It looks very aggressive and very sporty.

Next to it in these photos is the upcoming G20 3 Series. We can’t make much out about this 3er except for the fact that it might be the upcoming BMW M340i. It’s sporting dual exhaust tips, with one flanking either side of the car, which are usually only seen on six-cylinder 3 Series’. It’s also wearing some aggressive wheels, which look like they could be from some sort of M Sport package. At the front, the bumper features some large air intakes that are mostly covered by camouflage but still noticeable. So we’re guessing it’s the M340i.

We don’t get to see much of the new BMW Z4 but we’ve seen enough of that as of late. So we’re pretty much set on it. Still, it’s cool to see all three of these cars hanging out in Italy. They’re like the three best friends that anyone could have…
