Ireland begin their bid to regain the Senior Home Internationals from England when they face the holders on the opening day of hostilities at Rosslare today.
Portmarnock's Adrian Morrow and Mourne's Hugh Smyth will lead off for the home side in the foursomes against Ian Attoe and Stephen East with Tramore's John Mitchell and Killiney's Nigel Duke facing Alan Mew and Mark Stones.
Birr's Billy Donlon and Greystones' Barry O'Leary take on Ian Crowther and Bryan Hughes in the final match before the Sean O'Leary's charges do battle in the five singles in the afternoon.
Morrow and Mitchell were part of the side that won the European Seniors Team Championship in Sweden recently with Donlon, O’Leary and Westport's Liam Halpin retained from last year’s side
