BMW i Park Lane showcases the i8 Individual program

In 2012, the world’s first BMW i Store opened on London’s Park Lane where BMW Group introduced the BMW i3 Concept. The BMW i Park Lane dealership has seen been the place where several unique BMW i products went on display, just like this array of i8 models.

The dealership used the BMW i8 Individual Program to customize a series of plug-in hybrids sportscars. Guests of the store can now admire the i8 in Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition (1 of 15 in the UK), BMW Individual Rising Phoenix Metallic Chromaflair Paint (1 of 1), Crystal White and BMW Individual Verde Mantis (Lamborghini color).

All those colors give the i8 an even more exotic look while offering customers the option to own some unique BMWs.

In 2016, BMW UK introduced the new Individual color collection which is priced upwards of £5,495 and includes Java Green, Speed Yellow, Solar Orange, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Grey, Frozen Black, San Marino Blue and Grigio Telesto Pearl, among others.

A variety of finishes are available including non-metallic, metallic or Xirallic, which uses a mixture of synthetic mica or aluminum flakes to produce scintillating effects.

BMW’s new Individual paint program for the i8 was boosted by early-orders success for the Protonic Red limited edition model, which was once exclusive to the UK.
