Recently, Vorsteiner announced they have started work on their M2 aero package. Nearing completion, it will certainly be a step up in the aerodynamics department for the small high-performance model. Until then, the California-based tuning company aims to keep us entertained, thanks to the releases of their latest Flow Forged wheels. For this particular project, a set of Vorsteiner V-FF 107 Flow Forged wheels was adorned to the car.
Vorsteiner developed a lightweight technology that produces wheels that are seemingly lighter when compared to a conventionally cast wheel, albeit substantially stronger. The Flow Forged construction allows the wheel maker to shave of excessive weight, thanks to utilization of stronger aluminum. In addition to that procedure, they also meticulously reduce the weight of their wheels, thanks to back-pad pocketing, followed by front and rear spoke pocketing as well.
For this Mineral Gray Metallic BMW M2, the choice was made for a set of the aforementioned Vorsteiner V-FF 107 wheels. These come in sizes of 20×9 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear. Thanks to the Carbon Graphite finish – working in unison with the Mineral Gray Metallic exterior finish of the vehicle – they pose a great upgrade for the M2.
