The Rolls-Royce Wraith Regatta Is a $700,000 Mahogany Infused Upgrade

Eddie Sotto, a former Disney executive and part time rendering designer came up with a new way for ultra-rich people to spend their money. The man designed a bespoke so-called Rolls-Royce Wraith Regatta model that will soon be available on the market. The only trick is that you’d have to be stupendously rich to get one of them.

The design was apparently inspired by a private jet that costs $83 million which was also created by Sotto, who wanted future customers of the airplane to have an extension of it for shorter, on-the-ground trips. Therefore, the Rolls-Royce Wraith Regatta was created, as an appendix of the Skyacht One plane. Considering how much the jet-propelled aircraft costs, the Wraith truly is just an accessory.

“I wanted to bring a car up to the level of the Skyacht aircraft. It’s not a reproduction of a Rolls-Royce, but it’s a return to that handmade finish and Old World craftsmanship you’d expect in a car like that. Exposed joinery and craftsmanship like this are so rare in today’s world,” said Sotto.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith Regatta features plenty of bespoke parts to set itself apart from its less expensive brothers. On the outside you’ll notice the mahogany inserts for the hood, decklid and boot as well as the satin aluminum trims along with the bespoke silver wheels with red and gold accents. Inside the cabin more wood awaits along with various jewels used for some of the controls.

The price tag for such an impressive automobile is set at around $700,000 which doesn’t include the initial cost of the Wraith. That means, in case you want to ride around town with wood on the roof and bonnet of your car, you’ll have to spend over $1 million for it. But then again, you’d have a matching car for your $83 million airplane.
