Cork's Gary O'Flaherty faces a quality field for his defence of the Lee Valley Senior Scratch Cup this weekend.
The Munster interprovincial closed with a 71 to win the 54-hole event by two strokes from Mallow's James Sugrue (70) and Castletroy's Andrew McCormack (74) on four-under-par 212 last year.
Sugrue went on to win the South of Ireland title while Peter O'Keeffe, who was fourth, won the Irish Amateur Open at Royal County Down a few weeks later.

This year's field features several members of the Irish panel, including Sugrue, Ronan Mullarney and Tiarnan McLarnon.
Recently crowned West of Ireland champion Robert Brazill is also in the field for Saturday's shotgun start.
