Sweden's Kajsa Arwefjall overcame a three-stroke final round deficit to win the Irish Girls’ Open Stroke Play Championship by a stroke from compatriot Louise Rydqvist.

She carded a three-over-par 74 in testing conditions at Roganstown Golf & Country Club in Dublin to triumph on four-over 217 as 36-hole leader Rydqvist made six bogeys in her first seven holes en route to a closing 78.

Germany's Marie Bechtold edged in front early in the final round but  eventually finished third, three shots behind the winner on seven-over after a 78,

England's Ebonie Lewis and Germany's Sophie Witt tied for fourth on nine-over 222 with Nicole Joyce-Moreno the best of the Irish as birdies at the 16th and 17th gave her a 78 and a share of ninth on 226.
