{Friday Photo Bliss} Hiking and Fishing and Turtle Soup

On Fridays I like to post snapshots I took during the week that make me happy.

Piper sees my hiking boots and instantly knows what we will be doing that day.

We both love to hike.

I always call Piper my third son, but I didn't realize that the park ranger at Huntsville State Park would notice Piper's family resemblance.

I love when I am able to capture that perfect family photo.

Me and my two-legged sons.

I don't wear makeup when I hike. Scary, I know.

Someone is getting hungry!

But I just feel exhilarated. We are hiking! Life is GRAND!!!

I am very much like Piper in that way.

We also like to nap after a long hike.

Two days ago we went fishing. We were so excited to catch dinner.

Thank goodness one of my kids finally caught something, I was getting hungry.

Turtle soup anyone?

OK, fine, let him go, we are picking up BBQ for dinner.

I will tell Paul we caught a cow in the creek. ;-)
