Just yesterday we were drooling over one of SPOFEC’s creations and today it seems the story will repeat itself. The Novitec subsidiary specialized on Rolls-Royce models has just taken the veils off its new package, this time aiming at the ‘most beautiful convertible in the world’ as a certain Goodwood-based company claims. Yes, we’re talking about a modified Rolls-Royce Dawn.
Before you grab pitchforks and start screaming in anger, let’s just take a look at what the tuner achieved here. Their version of the Dawn isn’t drastically changed in the first place. The subtle tweaks done here and there actually make it seem a bit sportier and offer it a slightly more aggressive character. That said, we actually think it looks good, with the new front and rear bumpers installed.
The exterior look is also complimented by new 22″ wheels that fit the wheel wells perfectly due to the new suspension installed on the car in the photos below. Coming from SPOFEC, the new dampers and coilovers allow the car to sit some 40 mm (1.5 inches) lower until the beast reaches 140 km/h (87 mph) after which the car will automatically raise back up to its standard ride height.
In terms of performance, the SPOFEC team is offering a couple of enhancements as well. The 6.6-liter V12 engine under the hood can be upgraded to deliver 686 HP and 980 Nm (723 lb-ft) of torque. Those new figures mean that the luxo-barge can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than stock. All that extra power is managed by a new exhaust system made of stainless steel while the brakes can also be upgraded with ceramic ones that shave some 84 lbs (38 kg) off the car’s generous hips. Considering the extra grunt the car has and the weight it has to carry around, you might want to upgrade those rotors.
