Alpine White BMW M2 Gets Aftermarket Upgrades

Alpine White BMW M2 Gets Aftermarket Upgrades

The BMW M2 from IND Distribution is receiving praises from everyone on the interwebs. The U.S.-based tuning company is well-known for their high-quality and classy projects, featuring only the best aftermarket parts. This BMW M2 is no different.

The Alpine White BMW M2 started its life as a nimble and aggressive little monster, powered by a 3.0-liter straight-six engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology capable of delivering 370 horsepower.

Thanks to the power output and size, the M2 runs to 62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.3 seconds – if optioned with the fast 7-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission. A near perfect weight distribution, amazing handling and gorgeous looks, all work together to lure new customers to the M division.

This M2 however, comes with some aftermarket parts that improve its performance. First, the gorgeous yellow calipers of the Brembo Big Brake Kit provide adequate stopping power. Next on the list was the issue of lightweight  construction therefore IND Distribution removed the factory roof of the M2 and have replaced it with an RKP Carbon Fiber roof. Compared to the stock roof – set at 18.5 lbs – the aftermarket part weighs just 7.5 lbs. Additionally, a race-inspired rear wing was also installed, improving downforce and allowing for better cornering performance as well.

This is without a doubt one of the most darting and challenging M2 projects, but quite rewarding in the end.
