Cameron Raymond was the best of the Irish in Aberdeen, closing with a 74 to tie for 20th on three-under, seven behind Billy Spooner, who beat Thomas Robson after a three-hole playoff to earn his second PGA EuroPro Tour title.

Spooner started the day as the leader after carding a superb opening round of 65 to lead by two shots with 18 holes to play, after heavy winds reduced the tournament to a 36-hole event.

He then shot 69 to tie with Robson (66) on 10 under before rolling in a 10 footer for victory at the third extra hole.
