Photo Gallery: BMW G20 330i M Sport Package in Portimao Blue

Last week, BMW has kicked off the worldwide sales of the all-new BMW G20 3 Series. Just a few days ago we shared with you some photos of the new 3er is Melbourne Red and Mineral Grey, and today, it’s time to look again at the 330i model with the M Sport Package and the Portimao Blue launch color.

Just like its predecessors, the G20 3 Series comes with one of the largest offerings of exterior colors. For example, US customers get to pick between Alpine White and Jet Black, at no cost, while for $550, they get additional options – Black Sapphire Metallic, Melbourne Red Metallic, Glacier Silver Metallic, Mineral White Metallic, Mineral Grey Metallic ,Mediterranean Blue Metallic, Sunset Orange Metallic, Vermont Bronze Metallic, Portimao Blue Metallic and Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic.

This new photo gallery hails from South Africa showing the sports sedan in all its glory. The M Sport Package brings a higher level of aggressiveness to the exterior design, starting with the front fascia and its sporty styled bumper, and continuing in the back with a specific bumper.

It also includes BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line trim, kidney grille bars in High-gloss Black, air intake trim in High-gloss Black and a rear diffuser in Dark Shadow. Inside there are Sports seats, an M leather steering wheel, an anthracite-colored BMW Individual headliner and interior trim strips in Aluminium Tetragon, updated Vernasca leather seat trims and heated front seats.

The M Sport models feature the M Sport suspension as standard, including all the all-wheel-drive versions, and have a 10mm lowering of the car’s ride height. Adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers. For M Sport models, as an alternative to the M Sport suspension customers can specify Adaptive M suspension that now results in a perceptible variation in the damping characteristics when switching between the driving modes using the Driving Experience Control switch.

Under the hood, the 330i used a variation of the B48 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 258 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. That’s 7 horses and 37 lb-ft over the outgoing model. Just like the M340i, the ZF eight-speed automatic is in its latest generation pushing the 330i to 62 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds.

Pricing for the 2019 330i is the same as the 2018 model at $41,245. For $2,000 more, you’re getting the xDrive system.
