The imminent end of production life, and its successor, doesn’t mean that the much-loved F80 M3 performance sedan isn’t going to steal the spotlight anymore. With more and more LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) refined units hitting the streets, the aftermarket industry is hard at work in producing impressive builds for the soon-to-be-old model of the M3. This particular Black Sapphire Metallic BMW M3 comes from TAG Motorsports and it features a set of aftermarket wheels and carbon fiber cosmetic modifications.
The outgoing BMW F80 M3 is powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 425 horsepower and 486lb-ft of torque. In speed terms, the M3 will sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.1 seconds and achieve an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h). While the sheer performance aspect is good enough for some owners, there will always be those that wish to improve it’s aesthetics a bit.
With this BMW M3, the solution is a set of HRE P104 forged wheels and carbon fiber cosmetic touches. The wheels come from HRE Performance Wheels, one of the best companies in the wheel business. Since the wheels are designed, engineered and machined for each respective configuration, this offers the customer a unique combination of gorgeous design, lightweight and perfect fitment.
The BMW M3 in question now sports HRE P104 wheels that are sized 20×8.5 and 20×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. Thanks to a Satin Black finish, the wheels flow well with the blacked out (or murdered out) exterior color scheme.
