Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV Will Have Tailgate Seating

Rolls-Royce is going to bring out every trick in the book in terms of marketing before the Cullinan SUV is launched. The Brits are taking things to a whole new level in terms of anticipation, even though people who can actually afford the new ‘high-riding vehicle’ will most likely buy it anyway. After confirming the name, Rolls-Royce also released a couple of photos today, showcasing what they call the ‘Viewing Suite’.

The double-R company released some photos showcasing what looks like tailgate seating for those rich patrons wanting to properly take in a stunning sunset or maybe a breath of fresh air, while enjoying their Dom Perignon in a remote corner of the world. After all, the Cullinan is said to be able to ‘effortlessly’ cover any type of terrain you throw at it so it should allow you to reach the most exquisite destinations.

“The beauty of Cullinan’s Viewing Suite, the manner in which it deploys so effortlessly, the attention to detail, the finest leathers that match the interior of the customer’s Cullinan, and how it all comes together to bring beautiful furniture to the most remote places, all bear testimony to the unequalled Bespoke competence of the designers and craftspeople at the Home of Rolls-Royce,” commented Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Rolls-Royce CEO.

Designed and engineered at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, the Rolls-Royce Viewing Suite is apparently automatically deployed at the touch of a button. Two rear-facing, beautifully contemporary, finest leather chairs and a cocktail table should then emerge from within the rear compartment of Cullinan. It does sound weird but the animation posted in the video below does explain things. It’s truly a shame that we don’t get to see a glimpse of what the Cullinan SUV looks like in the pictures the brand published, as they have been carefully edited to leave out the car’s body.
