With the current-generation of the BMW M6 Coupe in the exit lane, the aftermarket industry has been hard at work in giving these vehicles a new lease on life, thanks to perfectly executed aftermarket modding. This particular Alpine White BMW M6 build comes courtesy of TAG Motorsports and it features a set of aftermarket HRE P101 wheels.
The build started with a stock BMW M6. This particular high-performance model from the Bavarian car maker comes with one of the best engines the company currently offers. The 4.4 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 engine in the BMW M6 delivers 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. By utilizing its Launch Control feature – letting your engine achieve maximum acceleration from a standing start – you can brandish every lb-ft right off the line, accelerating from 0 to 62mph (0-100km/h) in 4.3 seconds.
For the owner, the idea was simple: add a set of wheels, upgrade its looks and return the gorgeous coupe’s looks back to relevance. The wheels are HRE P101, a lightweight, performance optimized and engineered to perfection design that’s been one of the favorites in the aftermarket world.
These wheels come in sizes of 21×9.5 and 21×11 in the front and rear, respectively. The wheels feature a Gloss Black finish – a finish that works well against the Alpine White exterior of the BMW M6 seen here. Additionally, the BMW M6 features a rear aero carbon fiber diffuser and a rear decklid spoiler, both perfect finishing touches to the modding list.
