CoffeeShop "Bohr" Fine Art Texture/Overlay Set!

So I am back to work and it feels great! It is a cold, rainy day, perfect weather to work on some freebies/tutorials for my blog.

Today I am sharing a gorgeous fine art texture/overlay set I call "Bohr" after Niels Bohr. I have a series of famous scientist textures, you can find them on this page. I will show you how I created these textures in my next tutorial. :-)

You can use these textures on top of your images as overlays. I usually add them using Soft Light, Screen, or Overlay blending mode, but you should play around with other settings. These textures also make beautiful digital papers for your designs, greeting cards/stickers, or even website backgrounds.

If you are new to using textures and don't know what to do with them, make your own wall art! Use your own images or any image on a free site like Unsplash or Pixabay, add some of my textures, print them, and you have your own custom framable  art!

You can also use any of my textures to create your own designs to sell. All of my textures come with free commercial terms-of-use. I want you to make money using my designs!

Original images used in this post: (Dog, Couple, Portrait, Succulent).

CoffeeShop "Bohr" Texture Tutorial:

I added the Bohr Ocean texture in Overlay blending mode, 100%.

I copied the texture layer and put it in Screen blending mode, added a layer mask, and used a soft low opacity black brush on the center of the flower.

I also love this B&W version with the texture.

I would love to see your own art created with these textures on my Facebook page.
