This BMW M3 features one of the most understated and impacting finishes out there. While Nardo Gray may be known as an Audi finish, recently it found its way to various models from other manufacturers, ranging from the Ferrari 458 Italia, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Now, it is also featured as an Individual Finish for this BMW M3 project from Mode Carbon.
The 2017 BMW M3 comes with the updated LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) headlights and rear lights, which aim to give a slight refresh to the popular sports sedan. The M3 of the current generation is powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 425 horsepower and 486lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds and keep going all the way up to an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h). In a nutshell, the BMW M3 can hold its own with most vehicles available on the market today – whether on or off the racetrack.
To Mode Carbon, the vehicle needed to be further refined to adhere to their particular taste. This Nardo Gray BMW M3 features their carbon fiber GTS front splitter, the F80 M4 style High Kick spoiler and a Trophy R1 rear diffuser. While the dark theme may not be everyone’s cup of tea, with this Nardo Gray beauty, it fits well. The parts are somewhat understated, giving the M3 that coveted stylish, yet aggressive exterior appeal. A perfect solution for owners that want to stick out, without being overly flashy.
For the final touch, the BMW M3 received a set of HRE Wheels. The Series P1 are HRE’s best-selling forged wheels. When they were engineered and designed, the company put their focus on high strength, high stiffness, and lightweight and set out to create the ultimate street-performance wheels. This was done by combining the purposeful lightweight design of HRE’s race wheels with an unmatched level of sophisticated design. For this project, the wheels are sized 20×8.5 in the front and 20×10.5 in the rear. Thanks to a Matte Black finish, they fit the dark narrative of the vehicle perfectly.
