A first win can't be far away for Naas' Conor O'Rourke after notched his fifth top-10 in a row in Spain.
The former Irish international added a two-under 69 to his opening 73 at La CaƱada to finish tied for seventh on level par behind Dane Mads Soegaard on the Gecko Tour.
O'Rourke turned professional in September, and while he missed out by a stroke at Stage One of the European Tour Qualifying School, he headed for the England-based TP Tour and finished second in his first two events before moving on to the Gecko Tour in Spain.
Tied fifth and sixth in his first two starts and seventh this week, he will be hoping to win in his final Gecko Tour start of the season at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort next week.
His final event of the season will be the Final Stage of the Alps Tour Qualifying School at La Cala from December 14-16.
