Wide Body BMW M2 from Z Performance Is Definitely Not for Everyone

The guys from Z Performance are mostly known for their interesting wheel options, which are considered by many a more affordable alternative to well-established rivals. However, recently, the tuning shop have put together a bit more than just a car with a different set of wheels, taking a BMW M2 and drastically changing its appearance thanks to a wide body kit and an interesting paint finish.

For as much as it is revered, the BMW M2 is probably the most popular car in the German brand’s portfolio today. The new Competition model will take things to a whole new level but until deliveries kick off or we actually get to drive it, we’ll reserve judgement about its capabilities on and off the track. Therefore, we’re left with the original and, for some, adding a wide body kit could be the way to go.

The thing is, the M2 is already rather short and widening it could turn the car from a rectangle shaped object into a square and that’s not desirable. Nevertheless, what we’re looking at here is wearing everything it needs to be considered at least outlandish. The guys fitted the M2 with an eight-piece GRP wide body kit. This comes from Zacoe Performance, as does the front lip and the large rear spoiler, the side skirts and the three-piece diffuser, the mirror caps and the trailing edge on the rear – all made of visible carbon fiber.

Another highlight of this coupé is undoubtedly the conspicuous, pastel pistachio colored full CFC wrapping. Furthermore, the chassis was lowered by means of a Lowtec HiLow coilover system.  The wheels come from Z Performance, of course and they are the 10.5×20” ET-15 and 12.5×20” ET11 ZP.FORGED 6 Super Deep Concave choice. Their forged, multi-spoke centers are finished in brushed black and combined with polished beds. Toyo Proxes sport tires measuring 265/30ZR20 and even 325/25ZR20 on the rear axle complete the package.
