Even though this Sakhir Orange BMW M3 doesn’t come with a vast list of aftermarket modifications, it is one of the most gorgeous projects we’ve seen to date. The build was completed by AUTOCouture Motoring, and it’s a clear-cut example of how to stick to what works, thus resulting in a rather impressive aftermarket build.
The project started off as a plain-old BMW M3 – if you can call an M3 that. The vehicle is powered by a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 425 horsepower and maximum of 550 Nm torque. When equipped with a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), it will accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph (250km/h). In reality, that’s one hell of a start for a project like this one.
Overall, the owner has done a great job conserving the spirit of the M3 while carefully choosing aftermarket parts for his car. Alex, the owner of this M3, chose to stick with the fundamentals of the tuning world: carbon fiber, wheels and and a drop. The car is slammed, thanks to a set of KW Suspension Variante3 Coilovers, allowing for adjustments in height, rebound and stiffness. Additionally, this kit also allows you to switch from street use and trackday setups with ease, giving a flexible suspension option.
After the vehicle was lowered, a set of Apex ARC-8 wheels in 19-inches in size were installed, giving the car a sporty appeal. The wheels are paired with the BMW M Performance painted front add-on spoiler that makes for a perfect finishing touch. Check out the complete build gallery right below.
