Some vehicles can easily be redefined by the aftermarket touches given to them. With this Mineral Grey Metallic BMW M4, the owner tried to achieve a blacked out look. And by the looks of it, he fully succeeded. The only addition to this vehicle are the HRE R101 LW custom forged wheels. When paired with a lowering applied, the wheels give the BMW M4 a sleek and clean look.
For the most part, the driver of the current generation BMW M4 can rely on impressive performance numbers. The M4 is powered by a rather fuel efficient, albeit powerful engine. The 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivering 425 horsepower is the power source for the new M3/M4. In turn, the engine allows the BMW M4 to plow through the gears and sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds. Furthermore, the M4 will reach an electronically limited top speed of 155mph (250km/h) as well. A great base for an aftermarket build, that’s for sure.
Adding a set of wheels is often more than enough to make this performance beast pop. The HRE R101 LW wheels are installed in sizes of 20×8.5 and 20×10.5 in the front and rear, respectively. The owner kept the dark and clean appeal thanks to the wheels finished in a Matte Black option.
The HRE R101 Lightweight wheels start at just 16 lbs, making them a great option for owners wishing to shed some weight from their cars. The R101 LW is specifically designed for individual vehicle models, allowing the custom wheel company to create the utmost perfect and optimized lightweight wheel design, ready for both the street and the track as well. Since every vehicle model has a different load rating and power output, HRE Wheels have utilized this data to redesign the R101 for each model application, fine-tuning each detail of the wheel, in order to remove weight and add wheel rigidity where possible.
