This Alpine White BMW 435i will most certainly not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, while some other aftermarket builds center around race-inspired modifications that are show and no go, this 4 Series Coupe is actually prepped for time attack. So we can all turn a blind eye to some not so kosher looking upgrades. After all, it’s the lap times that matter, not just the looks. You can say that the owner paid attention to every detail, ensuring he gets one of the most aggressive looking 4 Series out there.
The BMW 435i is powered by a 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, developing 300 horsepower. The award-winning engine combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection, allowing for a smooth and efficient power delivery. The engine is mated to an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission that comes with automatic Sport and Manual shift modes and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. In turn, the 435i Coupe is one of the best handling non-M cars from BMW’s own product range and also, a perfect foundation for an aftermarket build.
The project started with some performance modifications. Namely, the high-performance machine first received an AWE Tuning axle back exhaust system, followed by an AWEO mid-pipe and VRSF catless downpipe. This allows the twin-turbocharged straight-six to breathe better, improving both the throttle response and power delivery. Furthermore, an Injen air intake, complete with a VF Engineering Hex Tuning Stage 2 completes the build. Now the vehicl produces an additional 70 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque.
The exterior saw the most visually impactful additions. First, a black front grille was installed, cleaning up the front fascia perfectly. Then, an MFR Engineering front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts, and canards were installed. These were followed by a huge NRG carbon fiber wing. Furthermore, the roof received a complete Rolotech vynil wrap. However, the most impactful addition to this Alpine White BMW 435i is the wheels.
Built by Forgestar, these wheels are a popular aftermarket solution for both street and track use. This build features a set of Forgestar F14 deep concave wheels, sized 19×9.5 and 19×10.5 in the front and rear. The wheels feature a Gloss Silver finish. Furthermore, a set of track-ready Hankook tires was installed. To improve street and on track handling, a set of BC Racing coilovers was installed. Finally, the interior was the rear seat delete, saving a bit more weight as well.
Certainly, the look shown with this Alpine White BMW 435i won’t be everyone’s first choice, but the vehicle is specifically built for a certain racing series. You can grab a detailed view of the entire build right below.
