We’ve driven a lot of BMWs with M Performance Parts, all of which have been good looking and interesting. However, not to insult any of our friends at the M Performance Parts division but this BMW M4 looks better than all of them. Currently at Hendrick BMW in Charlotte, North Carolina, this standard M4 is decked out with a few M Performance Parts and an awesome color combination.
San Marino Blue is one of our absolute favorite modern BMW Individual colors. We’ve seen everything from the M4 to the M5 to even standard 5 Series’ painted in the color. In that color, this BMW M4 looks fantastic. It also gets a subtle carbon fiber decklid spoiler and, curiously, a hood decal that reads “Vortsteiner”, despite it not wearing Vorsteiner wheels. Aside from that oddity, it also gets carbon fiber in its front air intakes, a black lower front lip, black side skirts and the M Performance exhaust with carbon fiber tips.
Inside, this BMW M4 gets another Individual option, the Cohiba Brown leather, which looks absolutely spot on in contrast with the San Marino Blue paint. We also see more M Performance Parts inside, such as the Display Steering Wheel, with glossy carbon fiber, Alcantara and M-colord contrast stitching. The Display wheel looks very cool, though it is a bit odd to hold. More importantly, it gets a new shift lever for its six-speed manual gearbox. It’s another M Performance Part and it’s a stubby little knob with carbon fiber inlays that looks fun to throw.
The BMW M4 is getting a bit long in the tooth these days, at least in terms of styling. With more modern competition coming out, such as the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe and Audi RS5, it’s starting to look a bit dated. However, it’s still a great car so it’s nice to see one that’s been customized just right, just enough to make it looks more interesting and more exciting without making it look obnoxious. And all of it was done by BMW, both from its Individual Program and its M Performance Parts Division. Which proves you can have an awesome and unique BMW delivered right to your dealer without ever having to take it to a third party.
