Lurgan's Annabel Wilson was beaten in the first round of the Spanish International Ladies' Amateur Open at Sherry Golf Jerez.
The teenager was the only Irish player to come through strokeplay qualifying but fell by 2 and 1 to Spain's Teresa Diez Moliner, who would go out at the 19th to Italy's Letizia Bagnoli in the afternoon.
No Spanish players made the quarter-finals, which feature two Germans, two Swedes, two Italians, a Russian and an Austrian.
